I'm 5 foot 7 inches, normal build. This machine is fine for the price paid. It will do until I find another Airdyne. It has a nice swing ( feel) at the pedals. The resistance system works fine. On the somewhat downside are; The seat is too low at its highest setting. Your leg should ALMOST straighten out at the bottom of travel. NEVER fully straight. The swing arms (handle bars) are also much too low. And, the calorie meter is way off. I've remedied all of these with minimal handyman skills. I added a 10 inch long, 1" I.D., steel tube to each bar, ABOVE the slight bend over the pivot point. Bolt it via conventional means. At least 2-1/2" of this tube should go into the top and bottom of the sawed off handlebar. That raised the bars 5" which works great. A 2" spacer was added under the seat to give it more height along with a wide Gelcel seat pad. On the calories, while diregarding the decimal point, when the calorie reading is at three digits multiply the FIRST digit by two. For four digit readings, (below 1000), multiply the first TWO digits by two and for readings over 1000 multiply the first THREE digits by two. This provides a much more accurate reading using slight resistance at about 10 or 11 MPH. Again, it's well worth $139. Just did my first one hour nightly pedal. Hope this helps.
